This pocket notebook covers the period January-July 1875. The entries are by Edison and relate to laboratory and manufacturing expenditures, household and business expenses, loans, and payments to workmen. There is a record of money received from Jay Gould, Western Union, and the Atlantic & Pacific Telegraph Co. The cover is marked "Edison's Ledger." Sixteen pages of this unnumbered book have been used.
