This pocket notebook covers the period April-July 1871 and contains a record of hours worked by some of the work force on a specific job. There is also a loose sheet marked "Perf Tools. June 10/71" describing costs for the manufacture of perforators. The cover is marked "Experiment." Thirteen pages of this unnumbered book have been used.
