This pocket notebook covers the period January-August 1872. It records purchases from Crowell & Coe, dealers in iron and steel. The name and address of the vendor is printed on the front cover, and "Edison & Unger" has been written under the printed line "in account with." Twelve pages of this unnumbered book have been used.
