This pocket notebook records the hours worked and piecework completed by a Mr. Shay for January-February 1875 and indicates wage payments made to him. The last pages of this book have been used to list components. The front cover is marked "Shay in a/c T.A. Edison." Approximately 10 pages of this unnumbered book have been used.
