This pocket notebook records the hours worked by Smith Acker, and payments made to him, during December 1878 and January 1879. The cover is marked "Smith Acker in a/c with Thos. A. Edison Menlo Park N.J." Only two pages of this unnumbered book have been used. Labor accounts for Mr. Acker can also be found in PN-77-12-18 (Charles Edison, Personal Accounts).
