This pocket notebook covers the years 1882-1890. It contains financial, historical, and technical data regarding fifty Edison central stations. The first page indicates that the book was "compiled by H. Rosenthal." Most of the information was probably furnished by Francis E. Jackson. Copies of two reports by Jackson to Upton, dated October 4, 1889, are included. The following inscription appears on the flyleaf: "Thos. A. Edison Compliments Francis R. Upton S.M." The book contains 107 numbered pages and an index.
