The financial records in this series consist of ledgers, journals, cash books, and other items relating to the financial operations of the Edison Manufacturing Co. Included are experimental, manufacturing, and sales accounts. Among the products covered are primary batteries, motion pictures, phonographs, talking dolls, fan motors, and x-rays.

All of the financial records for the period 1890-1898 have been selected except for the following: (1) Cash Books (1890-1898); (2) Daybook (1891-1892); (3) Stamp Expenditure Book (1890).
