This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the design and operation of automobiles and the use of storage batteries in electric vehicles. Included are letters from Levi C. Weir of the Adams Express Co. regarding the use of Edison batteries in delivery trucks and the construction of automobiles at the West Orange laboratory.

Approximately 10 percent of the documents have been selected. Most of the items not selected are letters concerning the delivery of parts, batteries, and electric motors to be tested in automobiles.
