This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the commercial and technical development of Edison's alkaline storage battery. Included are letters concerning the financial support and the prospects of Edison's battery work, as well as the probable use and advantages of the alkaline storage battery.

All of the documents have been selected except for three clippings from the Railroad Gazette.
