This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the use of Edison's name, whether authorized or unauthorized, for advertising, trademark, or other purposes. Among the documents for 1903 are items pertaining to the Edison Polyform and Manufacturing Co.; Edison obesity pills and Edison cigars; an Edison school, employment bureau, and bicycle; and the illegal use of Edison's name by a fortune teller and an electrical supply company. One undated document refers to the Edison Music Co. of Philadelphia.
