This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the use of Edison's name, whether authorized or unauthorized, for advertising, trademark, or other purposes. Many of the documents for 1904 pertain to foreign trademarks. Also included are a letter from a couple in Pittsburgh asking Edison's permission to name their child after him and a letter requesting a contribution to "The Edisons," the high school baseball team in Milan, Ohio.
