This folder contains letters received from individuals in response to a general inquiry by Edison regarding his search for cobalt ore. Included are letters that pertain to or enclose ore samples. Some of the letters contain Edison marginalia assigning assay numbers to the samples or indicating that he is no longer interested in cobalt.
