This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to Seminole Lodge, Edison's winter home in Fort Myers, Florida. Among the items for 1908 are letters from the chemist, Jonas Walter Aylsworth, who was convalescing in Fort Myers. Also included are documents regarding arrangements for Edison's visit, upkeep expenses, dock construction, and the planting of an avenue of royal palms.

Approximately 50 percent of the documents have been selected. The items not selected include routine correspondence regarding expenses and supplies, letters pertaining to outdoor sprinkler installation, and items that duplicate information in selected material.
