This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the business of the Edison Phonograph Works. Among the items for 1908 are letters and memoranda concerning stock transactions and dividends, shop orders, and production schedules. Included are memoranda to shop foremen by Peter Weber, superintendent of the Edison Phonograph Works, and a statement of monthly sales for the period November 1906-May 1907. Among the correspondents are William E. Gilmore, general manager; Carl H. Wilson, assistant general manager; and Frank L. Dyer, general counsel.

Approximately 60 percent of the documents have been selected. The items not selected include notifications of board meetings and letters regarding Edison Phonograph Works bonds. Also not selected, except for a few samples, are shop orders and announcements.
