This folder contains documents relating to patent applications and other patent matters. Among the items for 1873 are letters from Lemuel W. Serrell, Edison's patent attorney, and technical notes pertaining to patent applications for duplex telegraph apparatus. Most of these notes relate to the abandoned patent applications in the Patent Series.
