This folder contains correspondence relating to Edison's discovery of etheric force, a phenomenon that was later to be understood as high frequency electromagnetic waves. The correspondents for 1875 include inventor and telegraph engineer Charles E. Buell and Jerome V. C. Smith, a physician, educator, and public official.
