Much of the material in this folder concerns the shipment of supplies for the automatic telegraph by Edison & Murray to the Atlantic & Pacific Telegraph Co. The following notation appears on many of the documents: "Used in law suit: Edison vs. A & P and Domestic Telegraph Co. Apr. 1878."
