This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to personal matters, along with documents that deal with more than one subject or that do not fall under the main subject categories. A few early references to the electric light and the phonograph can also be found in this folder.The correspondents for 1877 include Edison associates Uriah H. Painter, Josiah C. Reiff, and George G. Ward. Other correspondents include Professor Henry Draper of the University of the City of New York and Western Union president William Orton. In addition to the correspondence, there are several agreements between Edison and Western Union.
