This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to patent applications and other patent matters. Most of the letters are by Edison's patent attorney, Lemuel W. Serrell. In addition to the correspondence, there is a preliminary statement by Edison in connection with the patent inference case, Thomas A. Edison v. E. Stewart, along with some financial material.

All of the documents have been selected except for a printed patent by Edison and duplicate copies of correspondence.
