This folder contains unsolicited correspondence suggesting improvements in Edison's inventions, asking for his advice on technical matters, or requesting his assistance in improving or promoting an invention. The letters cover a wide range of subjects.

Approximately 50 percent of the documents have been selected as a representative sample. All letters with marginalia by Edison or that are part of chains of correspondence have been selected.
