This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to telegraphy. The correspondents include Edison associates George E. Gouraud and Josiah C. Reiff; Albert B. Chandler, a former telegrapher and an official in the Atlantic & Pacific Telegraph Co.; attorney George Norris; William Orton, president of Western Union; and George B. Prescott, chief electrician of Western Union. In addition to the correspondence, there are memoranda, agreements, financial reports, bills, and receipts.

All of the documents have been selected except for duplicate copies of correspondence.
