This folder contains correspondence about routine financial transactions undertaken by Drexel, Morgan & Co. for Edison or his companies. Material relating to Drexel, Morgan & Co.'s role as a financier of Edison's electric light and telephone ventures can be found in folders on those subjects.

All the documents for 1879 have been selected to provide a sample of the material available. In subsequent years, however, routine documents in this folder have not been selected.
