This folder contains correspondence and accounts relating to the finances of the Edison Electric Lamp Co. Much of the correspondence is by Francis R. Upton, general manager and treasurer of the company, and by Philip S. Dyer, secretary.

Approximately 50 percent of the documents have been selected. The following categories of documents have not been selected: routine correspondence regarding outstanding accounts and checks sent to Edison for endorsement; bills and receipts; bills of lading.
