This folder contains correspondence, agreements, and other documents relating to the establishment of the Edison electric light system in the United Kingdom. Among the correspondents are George E. Gouraud, Edward H. Johnson, and Drexel, Morgan & Co. Much of the correspondence concerns the Holborn Viaduct central station in London. There is also correspondence from William Thomson about his tests of the Edison light.

All of the documents have been selected except for duplicate copies of correspondence and copies of cable messages in Letterbook, LM-001 (Letterbook Series).
