This folder contains correspondence, monthly balance sheets, and other documents relating to the finances of the Edison Machine Works. All of the correspondence is by Charles Rocap, secretary of the Edison Machine Works.

Approximately 30 percent of the documents have been selected. The following categories of documents have not been selected: routine financial correspondence; weekly financial statements; accounts relating to the electric railroad.
