This folder contains correspondence, reports, lists of stockholders, and other documents relating to the business of the Edison Electric Light Co. of Europe, Ltd. Many of the documents concern the proposed formation of a general European light company to supersede existing companies. Related material can be found in D-83-37 (Electric Light -- Foreign -- Europe) and in the Primary Printed Series.

Approximately 70 percent of the documents have been selected. The following categories of documents have not been selected: routine company correspondence, such as letters relating to the shipment of goods; bills and receipts; bond coupons; bills of lading; duplicate copies of selected documents.
