This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the establishment of a local illuminating company and to the construction of a central station at Mt. Carmel. Much of the correspondence is by P. B. Shaw, agent for the Edison Electric Light Co. and the Edison Co. for Isolated Lighting, and by William Schwenk, president of the Edison Electric Illuminating Co. of Mt. Carmel.
