This folder contains correspondence, agreements, lists of stockholders, and other documents relating to the construction of the Williamsport central station and to the organization and management of the Edison Electric Illuminating Co. of Williamsport. This company also acted as an agent for Edison in the organization of other Pennsylvania companies. Much of the correspondence is by John Re Campbell of the engineering department and by P. B. Shaw, who served as state manager for central station systems in Pennsylvania. There are also letters by representatives of the Edison Electric Illuminating Co. of Williamsport, including Henry C. McCormick, president, and Thomas C. Detwiler.
