This folder contains correspondence, test reports, and other documents relating to Edison's New York laboratory, located in the Bergmann & Co. factory building. Most of the documents are by Edison's associate John F. Ott.

Approximately 90 percent of the documents have been selected. The following categories of documents have not been selected: routine correspondence with suppliers; routine intraoffice communications.
