This folder contains correspondence, agreements, and other documents relating to the business of Bergmann & Co., New York City. The company produced electric lighting fixtures, sockets, and other devices used with the Edison system of electric lighting.

Approximately 70 percent of the documents have been selected. The following categories of documents have not been selected: routine correspondence relating to accounts; routine notices for meetings of the board of directors.
