This folder contains documents relating to the business of the Edison Electric Illuminating Co. of New York, which operated the Pearl Street central station. Included are the company's annual report and a cost estimate for a second central station in New York City.

Approximately 20 percent of the documents have been selected. The following categories of documents have not been selected: routine notices for meetings of the board of directors; duplicate copies of selected documents.
