This folder contains correspondence relating to the telephone in the United States and abroad. Many of the documents deal with the Edison Gower-Bell Telephone Co. of Europe, Ltd. Some material pertains to Edison's European patent assignments and contracts. Also included are royalty notices from the American Bell Telephone Co.

Approximately 90 percent of the documents have been selected. Documents that duplicate information in selected material have not been selected.
