This folder contains correspondence relating to John F. Randolph's role as Edison's bookkeeper and Alfred O. Tate's office assistant. The letters deal with routine financial transactions of the various Edison companies, especially the Edison Phonograph Works. Many of the letters are from Thomas Butler, writing on behalf of Samuel Insull. Also included are routine letters of acknowledgement and transmittal.
