This folder contains letters of introduction and requests to visit Edison and/or tour his West Orange laboratory. Among the requests are several concerning prominent Latin American figures such as President Soto of Honduras and politician Agusto Matte of Chile.

Approximately 10 percent of the documents have been selected. Routine requests and letters of introduction have not been selected.
