This folder contains correspondence, reports, and other documents relating to the business of the Edison Lamp Co. Most of the letters are by Francis R. Upton, general manager and treasurer of the company. Included are letters regarding company finances, foreign business affairs, and the fiber searches of Charles F. Hanington and James Ricalton.

Approximately 40 percent of the documents have been selected. The following categories of documents have not been selected: letters of transmittal; meeting announcements; routine correspondence regarding orders; bills and receipts.
