This folder contains routine correspondence suggesting improvements in Edison's inventions, asking him for advice or information on technical matters, or requesting his assistance in improving or promoting an invention.

Approximately 10 percent of the documents have been selected. Most of the selected letters received a significant response from Edison or from Arthur E. Kennelly, Edison's chief electrician.
