This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the business of the Edison Phonograph Co. Included are documents pertaining to the reduction of the company's capital stock; the resignation of Samuel Insull as its president and director and the election of his successor; and the reorganization of the company following its dissolution by the governor of New Jersey. There is also a list of company stockholders.

All of the documents have been selected except for 4 routine items regarding patent assignments, meeting announcements, and orders for phonograph parts.
