This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the Edison Employees Band, also known as the Edison Industries Band. Included are items pertaining to the search for a band leader during which the celebrated composer and bandmaster John Philip Sousa was consulted. There is also a list of band members and their instruments.

Approximately 80 percent of the documents have been selected. The unselected material consists of letters to new employees.
