This folder contains unsolicited correspondence requesting Edison's advice, assistance, or opinion on matters related to aviation. Included are ideas for new types of aircraft or improvements to aeronautical technology. All of the letters for 1917 were unanswered, redirected elsewhere, or received a form reply stating that Edison had no interest in the aviation business.
