This folder contains correspondence and other items relating to the Dictating Machine Division of Thomas A. Edison, Inc., which was managed by vice president Nelson C. Durand. The one selected item for 1917 is a draft letter to the Ohio Chemical & Mfg. Co. regarding the installation of "Edison Voicewriting Equipment" in their offices.

The two unselected items are a variant copy of the letter and a personal telegram for Edison employee Sherwood T. Moore.
