This folder contains correspondence about Edison's personal vehicles and about automobiles in general. Among the items for 1918 is correspondence between Edison and A. G. Batchelder of the American Automobile Association regarding the need for a federal road building program.

Approximately 20 percent of the documents have been selected. The unselected material consists of routine business correspondence handled by Edison's personal assistant, William H. Meadowcroft.
