This letterbook covers the period October-December 1899. Most of the correspondence is by Walter S. Mallory, vice-president of the company, and John F. Randolph, treasurer. The letters deal mainly with personnel matters, company financial obligations, equipment, and supplies. Some items relate to operations at the Ogden works and the prospects of future earnings. A few items pertain to the Edison Ore Milling Syndicate, Ltd. of London. The spine is marked "30." The book contains 500 numbered pages and an index. Less than 5 percent of the book has been selected.
