The subjects include carbon lamps, sockets, meters, and dynamos. The name of Charles Batchelor appears frequently as a witness. The label on the front cover is marked "Sketches for Patents" and "Edison." The book contains 64 numbered pages. The left-hand pages are unnumbered; page 64 is blank.
