This notebook contains dated entries from September and December of an unidentified year, probably 1905. All entries are by Edison and relate to the technical development of his storage battery. Included is a log of battery trials noting different compositions of cobalt and nickel flake and experimental methods for loading the flake into the cell pockets. Inserted into the book are several loose pages pertaining to the battery tests, and a one-page note on battery patents. The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 30 pages have been used.
