This notebook covers the period December 1897-February 1902. It is the second of three extant books used by Albert and Charles Wurth for notes regarding the electroplating of master molds for phonograph cylinders (see also N-91-11-24, Notebook Series; and "List of Moulds and Catalogue Numbers," National Phonograph Company Records, Company Records Series). Included are the names of the recordings that were used, along with the date of the plating. Some of the entries are listed as "Small Moulds for New Process Duplicates Speed 160." The front cover has a partially torn label indicating that the book was used as an exhibit in American Graphophone Company v. National Phonograph Company, Equity Nos. 1076 and 1103, United States Circuit Court, District of Connecticut. The book contains 180 numbered pages. Some of the pages contain tape and may be difficult to read.
