Notebook Series -- Notebooks by Other Experimenters -- Navy and Wartime Research Experiments -- Miscellaneous Books: N-17-07-01 (1917)
[NB237]

This notebook was used by Isidor (Jerry) Chesler in July 1917 for notes on experimental work done for the U.S. Navy. The notes pertain to sound amplification and detection. Included are experiments with various resonators constructed with tuning forks, phonograph diaphragms, and columns of water. These experiments are described as "tests on resonator with movable coil type receiver mounted on 2 1/4" column." The front cover is labeled "Notes by Mr. Edison. From July 1 - To 1917." The pages are unnumbered. Only five pages have been used.
