This notebook was used by Ludwig F. (Louis) Ott during September 1918-April 1920 for notes on various chemical experiments. Most of the experiments pertain to chemical solutions used in making storage batteries or efforts to reuse elements from old storage batteries. Comments by Ott on some of the entries indicate Edison's attention to, and correction of, Ott's work. The front cover is marked "Note Book L. Ott." The book contains 192 numbered pages, some of which are blank.
