Notebook Series -- Newark Shop Notebooks: Cat. 1181 Unbound Notebook (1871-1872)

This set of forty-six unbound and numbered pages covers the period August 1871-January 1872. The entries, dated and signed by Edison, are in his hand and contain descriptions of the components of printing chemical telegraphs and perforators, supplemented by detailed ink drawings. The names of Samuel Edison and Joseph Murray appear as witnesses.
