The only entry in this volume is a list of eight "axioms" in Charles Batchelor's hand. These axioms are broad generalizations relating to acoustics, anthropology, and the nature of matter, energy, and the universe. They are dated May 2, 1878. Only pages 1 and 3 of this 640-page volume have been used.
