This notebook covers the period March 1901-August 1910, with some notations extending to February 1912. It was used by George A. Meister and several unidentified employees for the assignment of sequential account numbers, 1095-2208, to each laboratory project. The entries provide a description of each project, the name of the person or company charged for the work, and frequently a corresponding requisition number. Some of the entries are dated, and some are noted as "closed." The project numbers were also used to identify experimental expense account entries in the laboratory ledgers and journals. The cover is marked "1094 To 2200" and is stamped "2." The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 100 pages have been used.
Similar entries for projects numbered 1-1094 can be found in N-87-11-24 Thomas A. Edison Papers, Part III (1887-1898).
